In this lesson, youu2019ll learn how to play an B Minor barre chord rooted on the A string. When you play this chord, be careful not to barre the E string as well. This will muddy the chord. Also, make sure you only strum the chord from the A string – just like when you played A rooted open chords.

Just like with the F major barre chord, take some time to practice playing the barre cleanly and then add the notes after the barre.
